Advance registration is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended. No registration fee is required for this contest.
Contest Entries will be accepted on Saturday, August 2, 2025, between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Entries will be accepted in the Carriage Room at the Holiday Inn (right off the main lobby)
The Design Contest Themes will be available in early 2025.
This contest is the premier floral design competition held in the state. This contest allows designers to showcase their talents through three popular floristry categories and, for the top four designers after the preliminary round, a live, on-stage surprise box challenge to determine the 2025 Kentucky Designer of the Year. Please consider being a part of this great KFA tradition.

DESIGNER’S CHOICE
This competition will provide an opportunity to recognize the talents of an emerging floral designer who has not yet participated in a KFA contest.
CATEGORY: Arrangement
Past Designer of the Year winners will design an arrangement. Theme to be announced soon. The contest will be commentated live, on-stage on Friday, August 01, 2025
These designs will be judged and the top four will immediately compete in an on-stage, surprise box competition.
